I reviewed Poison Study separately, but for those who may have missed that review let me say that it is an awesomely fun fantasy read!Īlthough I tried to keep these mini-reviews succinct and spoiler-free, there may be incidental spoilers (like a character showing up in the second or third book, which would make it obvious they didn’t die in an earlier volume, etc.). I’ve been reading through the books so quickly that I thought I would include my mini-reviews all in one post. The two series have some of the same characters and are best read in order:
I recently finished reading the books in the Study series and the Glass series. Just as a comparison, her books are similar in style to Kristin Cashore’s Graceling and Bitterblue – if you liked those you are in for a treat with Maria V.
Snyder’s books and quickly came to realize that she was going to be a new favorite author.
